Welcome to the Website of the Zebon Copse Residents’ Association
Zebon Copse is a residential estate on the edge of Church Crookham – part of Fleet in Hampshire. Building of the first houses began in 1992 and it has now expanded to around 1100 households.
Public Survey – Recreational Use of Local Military Lands
JULY 2020 – There is a public survey out for people to comment on their use of the local military lands.
The survey is at https://tinyurl.com/yaaj5309 (It only takes about 4-5 mins to complete. Our local areas are Beacon Hill and Caesar’s Camp, Long Valley (the area that has recently been fenced) and Velmead Woods (the area behind the Foresters.))
The petition is at http://chng.it/ZN6L5Fx68r
And further information is at https://www.byelawsreview.com/take-action
The further information said that the public consultation was only open for 35 days in April and May; however, the survey still seems to be live, as is the petition, so I think it is still worth completing it.
Events – Update
MARCH 2020: Due to the current coronavirus crisis all ZCRA planned events for the spring and summer of 2020 have been cancelled.
The good people at Communicare have asked us to share a link to their new website. Although they have had to pause their service during the pandemic, they are planning to be up and running again soon.
For those who aren’t familiar with Communicare’s work, they are a charity formed in 1981 who, through their wonderful volunteers, offer transport for residents in Fleet, Church Crookham and Crookham Village to take them to a range of medical appointments.
They are always in need of more volunteers, so if you are a local car owner and have a few hours a week to spare, they would be very pleased to hear from you.
