The Zebon Copse summer fete this year will be held on Sunday June 29th and as usual it will be held at the Zebon Copse Centre and adjacent sports ground just off the end of Danvers Drive.
This is a key event in the ZCRA social calendar. As well as being a great day out for families and friends, it gives residents an opportunity to gather together to celebrate all that is good about living on Zebon Copse.
The special attraction this year will be flying and static demonstrations of Birds of Prey by GMG Falconry. The Dogs Trust will be offering free micro-chipping for dogs and we hope to run the Fun Dog Show for local pets again this year between the flying demonstrations.
To complement the usual Hog Roast, BBQ, real-ale tent, soft drinks and ice creams, teas and cakes will again be provided by our friends at Riding for the Disabled. A jazz band will add to the festivities.
In organising the event the ZCRA team has worked with local residents to provide a variety of stalls and activities to interest young and old which we hope will provide something for everyone. So please put the date in your diary and tell your friends – maybe even do a little sunshine dance!
As always, ZCRA will need some volunteers to help set up, man stalls and the BBQ, and take down on the day. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are willing to help.
If you’d like to take a stall at this event, please contact email@example.com.
